First Saturday Serve – Saturday, Oct 4th
On Saturday October 4th,  from 9am to 12pm we will host a service day for the community as we continue to prepare the land at
Creekside Community located at 3810 S. University Parks Dr. Waco, TX 76706. Potential projects could include landscaping, trash pick up, organizing and cleaning the homes.

Please arrive promptly at 9am to learn some of the history and purpose the Creekside Community Village. Folks will be assigned to a wide range of projects, including lawncare, cleaning homes, picking up trash, etc. Families are welcome to join, but we ask that you only bring youth 13 years and older. The youth who come to serve must accompanied by a parent/ guardian.

You are encouraged to wear closed toed shoes and clothes that you do not mind getting a little dirty! We recommend wearing pants due to tall grass and potential poison ivy. Please also avoid wearing clothes that have a political affiliation and strong opinion. Bring water bottles, sunscreen, hats, etc – anything ideal for working outdoors. As this is a worksite, bathroom facilities are limited to portable toilets.

We look forward to your positive attitude and hearts full of compassion!

Please note that orientation & background check are NOT required to participate in the the community service day. We do ask that you register HERE ahead of time so we know how many folks to anticipate.
