Meet Jordan!

Jordan delights in people of all stages of life coming to grow closer to Jesus. On Sundays you’ll see him and a small army of volunteers in blue shirts having a blast with the Mosaic kids as they explore the Gospel with those young disciples. You might also see Jordan working as a hospital chaplain at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest.

Originally from East Tennessee, Jordan moved to Waco in 2025 to be with his best friend and bride Briana. They met while completing their Masters of Divinity degrees at Princeton Theological Seminary and were married just a short 13 years later in the style of When Harry Met Sally.

Jordan is a movie and board game nut, quick with a movie illustration or dad joke, and always eager to create fun times and spaces for our church family to grow closer to Jesus and each other. He’ll jump at the opportunity to have a meal with you, pour into your family, and walk alongside you in your discipleship.

Sunday Mornings

Our Nursery is open for BOTH 9:00AM & 11:00AM Service. Drop-off begins 15 minutes before each service.

As you arrive, enter through the front steps off Washington Ave. and make your way into the sanctuary. To the left of the stage is our children’s wing.

We offer nursery care for children ages three and under. If you plan to use the nursery, please try to do the following:

To make sure that we get all your belongings (diaper bag, sippy cup, etc.) back to you, label them.
Pack at least one disposable diaper, as well as a change of clothes and baby wipes.
Provide a paci-clip to secure a pacifier to your child, if he or she uses one.
We want to keep all of our children as healthy as possible, so if your child has been sick, wait until he or she has been fever free for at least 24 hours before bringing him or her to the nursery.
No peanut products are allowed in the children’s wing.

When you are signing in your child to the nursery, place the sticker on your child’s back, and take the nursery security card with you to use for check-out. The nursery security card number must match the child’s sticker, for checking a child out.

The first time you visit, the nursery greeter will complete a Family Registration Form for you at the Mosaic Kids check-in table. Only the authorized adults you indicate on this form may sign out your child. Also, this form will allow you to give us special instructions for your child’s feedings, allergies, or potty-training. We ask that, unless your child is having a difficult time transitioning to the nursery, parents remain outside the nursery room.

While you are in the service, your toddler/preschooler will play with toys, have a snack, listen to a Bible story, and learn a song. We will send you a text message if you are needed during the service. All of our nursery volunteers have been screened for the protection of our children. Your child is always welcome to stay with you during the worship service.

Prek - 4th Grade

Kids Church for Both 9:00AM & 11:00AM service.

Children must be wearing a checkin sticker to attend Kids Church. Check-in begins before the worship service.

What is Kid’s Church?

After the worship and the Passing of the Peace, children will be invited to line up with their class for a developmental appropriate lesson:

Pre-k & Kinder
1st & 2nd grade
3rd & 4th grade

Teachers will return your child back to their seats after the sermon.

At the 11:00AM service, we’ll have 1 room for kids church and clipboards with kid-friendly note taking sheets to engage them during the sermon.
