What Are Grow Groups?
Grow Groups are for women at Mosaic who are looking for a way to get to know other women and build intentional multigenerational friendships. In these groups, women will have the chance to hear from other women in different life seasons about their journey of walking with God in the highs and lows of life. We hope that in these groups women can be valuable resources of encouragement to each other as they grow together in friendship, their knowledge of God, and how their faith changes the way they live.
What are the goals of Grow Groups?
1. Provide a safe place for women to share their spiritual journeys and learn from each other
2. Foster multigenerational community amongst women at Mosaic
How many women will be in each Grow Group?
In order to promote rich discussion, groups will be limited to 3-4 women.
When and where will groups meet?
Groups will meet once a month from August-December, for a total of 5 meetings. Each meeting will be 2 hours. The location and time of each meeting will be decided on by each individual group.
What will the groups discuss?
Groups will read and discuss selected chapters of “Growing Together,” by Melissa Kruger. Copies of “Growing Together” will be available at the Book Table, or can be purchased online.
How will groups be assigned?
For the most part, women will be randomly assigned to groups. However, since Grow Groups seek to foster multi-generational community, attention will be given to ensuring that each group is made up of a variety of ages and life-stages.
